Reputation management is, in my opinion, going to become an industry all to itself. If a Google search on your name (or your company’s name) includes anything negative – whether it be a blog comment or forum post or whatever – it can be replaced in most cases with something positive.

Up until now, we’ve used Google Alerts to attempt to keep track of these types of issues, both internally and for clients. Now I think there may be a tool that trumps Google Alerts – and then some. It’s called Trackur and it is going to be put to good use by our company from now on!
