Hmmm… just saw a news post about our reputation management services:

http://www.browardpalmbeach.com/2008-08-21/news/two-tales-from-the-trail/

This isn’t nearly as easy as Norman makes it sound. And by the way, Rodstrom got a couple of quotes from other firms for doing similar services – both topped $10k. So I’d say that no matter where the funds are coming from, he got a pretty good deal from us…

Give us a call if you’re interested in reputation management services. It’s not always a matter of pushing out negative listings. Reputation management is, in my opinion, going to become an industry all to itself. If a Google search on your name (or your company’s name) includes anything negative – whether it be a blog comment or forum post or whatever – it can be replaced in most cases with something positive.

We’ve seen quite a few bloggers discussing Blogrolled.com, and we wanted to clear up some confusion in terms of the Blogrolled.com Publisher process. Several high profile bloggers have indicated that it’s necessary for a Publisher to insert code into their blogs immediately after signing up with Blogrolled. This is not the case. Blogrolled does not require Publishers to insert any code into their blog until they receive an offer from an Advertiser. At that time, instructions will be sent to the Publisher on how to update their Blogroll section.

Blogrolled.com officially launches today and we’re pretty excited about it. This service is intended to give bloggers another way to monetize their blogs as well as providing advertisers a resource for text links and traffic to their websites. Links in a blogroll section of a blog are “dofollow” links (there needs to be a better term for this) which push link juice and help in organic SEO efforts.

Publishers can sign up their blog(s) now and will have full approval control over which advertisers’ links they post in their Blogroll. This is not an automated posting service like TextLinkAds – we use no scripts or code of any sort! All Blogroll link postings will be done manually and will be sold at a flat monthly rate depending on the publisher’s blog/website metrics.

Advertisers will be able to search an inventory of Bloggers/Publishers offering links in their Blogroll. The theme and metrics of a blog will be shown, but bloggers’ URLs will not be revealed until a purchase is completed.

Post your comments here or send them to support@blogrolled.com. We hope to continue tweaking the service over the next few weeks/months according to user suggestions.

Up until now, we’ve used Google Alerts to attempt to keep track of these types of issues, both internally and for clients. Now I think there may be a tool that trumps Google Alerts – and then some. It’s called Trackur and it is going to be put to good use by our company from now on!
